Our Process


Define Client Needs

We develop a full understanding of the client's organization and the position to be filled before a search begins. When this information is obtained, the lead consultant submits an engagement letter and position specification to the client.

Search Strategy

Once we define a profile of the individual to be recruited, our consultants and research associates create a strategy to maximize opportunities for locating the best candidates. A list of targeted companies and potential sources is then compiled through our extensive industry contacts and knowledgeable research associates.

Evaluation and Presentation of Candidates

Waldthausen & Associates, Inc. proactively and aggressively recruits prospects on behalf of our clients. We interview the best candidates and evaluate them on suitability and fit for our client's organizations. Based on our analysis, we present only the most qualified prospects to our client.

Client Interviews and Negotiations

After our clients review profiles of top candidates, we coordinate client-candidate interviews. As an intermediary in the hiring process, Waldthausen & Associates, Inc. advises its clients as they make offers and negotiate hiring terms for candidates.

Follow-Up

After a search is completed, we maintain contact with the client and new executive to ensure a smooth integration. With these proven methods in place, our clients return to us for additional searches.
