Marion completed her education in hotel/events management. She has worked in various four/five star hotels in Europe and the USA. Marion relocated to the USA and studied Psychology at Kansas University in Lawrence, KS. A move to Charlotte, NC offered her an opportunity to use her German language skills as a researcher with our firm.

Launa Kendle

Launa graduated cum laude from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA with a BA in Economics. She worked ten years with The Bank of America in Norfolk, VA before relocating to Charlotte, NC. Launa joined the firm as a research associate in the year 2004.

Becky Headen

Becky graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a BA in Economics. Upon completion of her education, she worked for eight years as an office manager with a construction firm in Charlotte, NC. Becky is a recent addition to our firm and a dedicated, steadfast researcher.  

Susan Schacht

Susan graduated from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science. Additionally, she has done Post-Baccalaureate studies at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Technical & Expository Writing and Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining the firm Susan was an outside Sales Representative for an industrial air filter company and most recently a Research Associate for a local company. Susan is the most recent addition to our firm and a dedicated researcher.

Carrie Sheppard

Carrie graduated cum laude from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh , PA with a BSBA in marketing. She has spent the last 10 years working for manufacturers of men's and women's accessories as a merchandise coordinator at the retail level. Carrie joined the firm as a research associate in 2007.

Each research associate partners with a lead consultant/partner and works closely with our clients and members of our staff.

Sabine Birkle

Sabine completed her education in Germany as an executive assistant and worked for several companies in Germany before relocating to the USA, where she graduated with an “Associate of Applied Science in Office Administration Technology” from Elgin College in Illinois. Sabine worked as an office manager for a German company in Charlotte, NC before joining Waldthausen & Associates.

Mary Kassteen

Mary has an Associates Degree in general studies and continued on to Montclair University in NJ. Mary's past experience includes more than 15 years as an Administrative Assistant in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. She joined our firm after relocating to the Charlotte area.
